Follow along with us as we study the difficult topics of the bible to find the truth of Yehovah. As a follower of Christ, we are called to be students of the truth (2 Tim. 2:15). This podcast is meant to utilize the scriptures to correctly outline what the bible tells us is the truth and in the process, help to unlearn the bad tradition, theology, and error of popular modern theology that has been read into the bible. To be a Berean means to hold every idea, theology, and claim made by people who say they follow Yehovah against the truth of scripture, regardless of who or where the idea may have come from. Study with us as we seek truth objectively about who Yehovah is, what His son Jesus has done for us, and what we can do to live an effective and overcoming life until Jesus returns.

S1E12: The Spiritual Kingdom
Tuesday Oct 12, 2021
Tuesday Oct 12, 2021
Scripture and Jesus tell us that there is something greater than our physical existence, a kingdom ruled by Yehovah from His throne in heaven. We see evidence scattered throughout the bible that Yehovah is in charge and the things that take place in the spiritual realm are what effect our lives in the physical. Many Christians today still view our physical existence as a higher priority than the spiritual but the bible shows us things are the other way around. While Christ will establish His physical kingdom when He returns and receives dominion over the earth, He established a believers connection to the spiritual kingdom through the presence of Yehovah in our lives through His Holy Spirit. In this episode we outline the basics of the spiritual kingdom.
"Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.” John 18:36

S1E11: Salvation & Redemption
Tuesday Oct 05, 2021
Tuesday Oct 05, 2021
Throughout scripture we see evidence that Yehovah provides salvation, that He is a deliverer and can be the savior for those that trust in Him. In this episode we take a look at some key definitions regarding the context of salvation for the Hebrew people vs. eternal salvation for the believer who has faith in Jesus. We also take some time to define what redemption means for us as followers of Christ and the responsibility that comes with that price being paid.
"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to everyone. It instructs us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives in the present age, as we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds."- Titus 2:11-14

S1E10: The Day of Yehovah
Tuesday Sep 28, 2021
Tuesday Sep 28, 2021
In this episode we take a look at a specific event that is prophesied to take place before the Kingdom of God is established, the Day of Yehovah. This day is described by the major and minor prophets as well as the apostles, as a time of wrath, destruction, vengeance, and justice. We see that this is also a time period that will be a physical destruction to both the wicked and those that abused the gospel of Christ. Following the pattern of this study, we know this a future day we are anticipating and that those in Christ have nothing to fear but can consider this to be a time of salvation and deliverance for those who love Yehovah.
"and to give you, those being afflicted, relief with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His power, in flaming fire giving full vengeance to those not knowing God, and to those not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord, "and from the glory of His strength," - 2Thessalonians 1:7-9

S1E8: Power, Authority, & Dominion
Tuesday Sep 14, 2021
Tuesday Sep 14, 2021
Jesus tells us that those who follow and believe Him, will perform powerful signs due to the authority we have been given access to. "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." - Mathew 28:18-20

S1E7: Ezekiel‘s Vision of the Temple
Tuesday Sep 07, 2021
Tuesday Sep 07, 2021
Yehovah provides to Ezekiel a vision of a future temple that will be established in Jerusalem. In this vision we see the description of people, restoration, and a physical size not met by the temple of Solomon or the tabernacle in the wilderness. Adding the context of Ezekiels temple to the promise of the kingdom and the future global rule of Christ, we can see that Yehovah was offering a hope to the people of Israel to look forward to in the coming age. In this episode we discuss some of the details of this temple and what we can expect to see in the future kingdom.
"And the man said to me, Son of man, behold with your eyes and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you. For you are brought here so that I might show them to you. Declare all that you see to the house of Israel." - Ezekiel 40:4

Tuesday Aug 24, 2021

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?
